Kuala Lumpur, 16 March 2010 - A new ramp, known as Ramp 6, an arched bridge crossing the Klang River, which is located next to the Brickfields Police Station, will be opened on 18 March 2010 after 10.00am for the convenient of traffic to Taman Seputeh from Jalan Syed Putra via Jalan Tun Sambathan.

Traffics going to Taman Seputeh from the direction of Petaling Jaya can now use Ramp 6 via Jalan Syed Putra by turning left into Jalan Tun Sambathan to reach Taman Seputeh. This is a direct route as there is no need to stop at the traffic light.

Previously, traffics from Petaling Jaya to Taman Seputeh are required to use Jalan Tun Sambathan 2, Jalan Thamby Abdulah and Jalan Tun Sambanthan 1 to get to Taman Seputeh. Now, traffic need not use this route.

The present ramp, located at the Jalan Syed Putra bridge, will be closed on 18 March 2010 die to road works.

Traffic from Brickfields heading to Kuala Lumpur via Jalan Tun Sambathan can now turn left into Ramp 6 to get onto Jalan Syed Putra to Kuala Lumpur.

All road users are reminded to drive carefully along this area, and follow strictly the traffic directional signage's which have been installed in the area for your safety and convenience.

The whole project is expected to be completed by the middle of July 2010.

Please refer to the location map for details.
